What is Otaku?
This time I introduce Otaku who is fanatic fans of girl’s idle group.
What is Otaku? According to Wiki pedia, like that.
In modern Japanese slang, the term otaku is mostly equivalent to “geek” or “nerd”.[6] However, it can relate to any fan of any particular theme, topic, hobby or form of entertainment.[6] “When these people are referred to as otaku, they are judged for their behaviors – and people suddenly see an “otaku” as a person unable to relate to reality”.
Basically Otaku people are social minority people that have no influent ion except their favorite special particular hobby.
Now you can see one of great Otaku culture.
Why do they dancing?
Today there are concert. It’s a young girl’s idol group.
Few hours later, concert will start.
So these otaku fanatic fans waiting for the gate opening.
But do you think strange if you see these pictures?
Why they are dancing and singing?
The reason is they do rehearsal for concert as an audience.
They are not performer but audience. But they need rehearsal to behave as an otaku fan.
There are patterns of Otaku behavior.
1. Do rehearsal as a performer instead of girl’s idol group.
2. Do rehearsal as an audience to do team cheering dance for girl’s idol group.
I sympathize Otaku because they must dance so hard before concert. I think they should be relaxed. But Otaku cannot rest. They must do rehearsal. Concert is the biggest event in their Otaku life.
These cheering have strict rule and method.
Each song has each specific cheering style. So they are training of those cheering.
They keep dancing until gate open.
One Otaku collapse on the ground. But he cannot rest. he is still training dance while lying.
Otaku have no time to rest. They are hard fighter.
